Get to work

May I propose Kishore Thakur's "24 x 7" as the perfect sculpture for the lobby/ reception area at the Amazon offices in Seattle?This is work as torture. Thakur's cyclist is pedalling furiously to transport cartons upon cartons of eggs, but he doesn't even sit astride his bike, his leg looped uncomfortably under the crossbar. He is dwarfed by the towers of eggs, as he is by the enormity of the endeavour. His ropey muscles do their utmost, his vertebrae strain through the skin of his back, his face is knotty with effort. His entire being appears to be disintegrating from the exertion. His only desire is one day to be replaced by a drone.
